JoElla is a 1988 graduate of West Washington High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a minor in Philosophy from Indiana University Southeast in 1993. She began her lifelong career at Springs Valley Bank & Trust Company in 1992 as a part-time teller while attending college, also completing a marketing internship with the bank that same year.

After graduating, JoElla joined Springs Valley full-time and steadily advanced in her career. She served as Banking Center Manager and IRA Administrator, earning a promotion to Assistant Vice President. She later became Deposit Operations Manager, where she was promoted to Vice President. In 2020, JoElla stepped into her current role as Vice President & Business Banker—a position she finds to be the most fulfilling chapter of her banking journey. She enjoys building relationships with her customers and helping them achieve their financial goals and dreams.

JoElla lives in West Baden Springs with her husband, Cory. She previously served two terms on the French Lick West Baden Chamber Board, including one term as Board President. She currently serves on the Finance Advisory Committee for the Orange County Economic Development Partnership and the Advisory Committee for Orange County Habitat for Humanity. In her free time, JoElla loves spending time with her two grandchildren and going on adventurous family vacations.
