Sandy is an alumna of Northeast Dubois High School Class of 1987. Sandy received a BA in Political Science with a Minor in Business in May of 1991 from Indiana University. She then attended the Indiana University School of Law, and in May 1994, received her Doctor of Jurisprudence (Cum Laude).

Sandy has been with Springs Valley as a Trust Officer/Financial Advisor since June 2012. She was promoted to Vice President in May, 2014. She was awarded the Certified Trust and Financial Adviser (CTFA) designation in October, 2015 from the ABA Trust School.

Prior to joining Springs Valley, Sandy was the attorney for the City of Jasper from January 2001 to December 2011 and before that was engaged in the private practice of law. Sandy continues to hold her membership with the Indiana State Bar Association in Probate, Trust & Real Property, Taxation, and Elder Law Sections. She is also a member of the Dubois County Bar Association.

Sandy believes that it is better to be proactive, rather than reactive, when it comes to financial planning and estate planning. She enjoys spending time with her clients to examine their financial and estate planning needs.

Sandy resides in Jasper with her husband, Jason. She volunteers with Junior Achievement and at Holy Family Parish, is a Director and Member of the Jasper Kiwanis Club, and a Member of the Deaconess Memorial Hospital Finance and Investment Committee and the Being for Others Foundation Grants Committee. Sandy was named an Athena Award finalist by the Jasper Rotary Club in 2017. Sandy enjoys travelling with her family and has visited Paraguay, China and Cuba.
