When Orange County Habitat for Humanity board member, Tina Qualkenbush, whom is also Vice President & Mortgage Loan Officer at Springs Valley, learned that Habitat was in need of a building site in French Lick, she sprang into action. Tina inquired with Craig Buse, SEVP & Chief Lending Officer, asking if Springs Valley had a vacant lot available to donate to Habitat. Luck was on Habitat’s side, Springs Valley had a vacated lot at 9097 West Vermont Street in French Lick. “Orange County Habitat for Humanity is thrilled to receive the property on Vermont Street in French Lick from Springs Valley Bank & Trust”, said Christy Morgan, Program Director at Orange County Habitat for Humanity. “This donation comes at the perfect time when we really needed a lot on which to build this coming fall during the 2019 Apostles Build.
