Smith began his banking career in 2006 with Fifth Third Bank, holding the title of Assistant Vice President and Financial Center Manager at its Jasper Main-Southgate Shopping Center. Prior to joining Springs Valley, Smith was at Farm Credit Mid-America where he was a Financial Services Officer, with concentration on Consumer, Commercial, and Agricultural lending. Smith began his career with Springs Valley in 2015, as the Third Avenue Banking Center Manager & Commercial & Mortgage Loan Officer for Dubois and surrounding counties. Smith attended Indiana State University and has a degree in History. He is a board member for the Habitat for Humanity of Dubois County. His past achievements include the President’s Circle with Fifth Third Bank and President of the National Institute of Consumer Credit Management. Brian and his wife April are proud parents of three children, Chloe, Drake, and Eliot. They reside in Dubois County. He is a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and is involved with many of his children’s activities.
