Makenzie graduated from Loogootee Jr. Sr. High School in 2021. She is currently attending Indiana University as a direct admit to the Kelley School of Business and will be entering her junior year this fall. At Indiana University, Makenzie is a member of IUDM, Hoosier Catholic Youth Group, and competes in intramural sports. At Loogootee, Makenzie was involved in Beta Club, SADD Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Spanish Club, Lion Manufacturing, Student Government, and she was a member of the Volleyball, Basketball, and Softball teams. Makenzie is the daughter of Bob and Leslie VanHoy. She is a member of St. John’s Catholic Church and was a youth group member throughout high school. Some of her hobbies include watching and participating in sports, photography, and traveling. "I am thrilled to be joining the Springs Valley Bank & Trust team as a Marketing Intern.
